The long time expert in species specific extracellular matrix antibodies
At the end of Lyon Pasteur Institute a group of researchers created Novotec, an independent laboratory, in 1997 (SARL).
Novotec develops, produces and distributes species specific antibodies directed against macromolecules of the Extracellular Matrix (ECM).
Novotec is an expert in immunohistochemistry , in the tissular and serological evaluation of organ fibrosis. Novotec has the advantage to propose experimental models of hepatic and renal fibrosis.
The scientific background, the numerous academic and hospital contacts have allowed Novotec, in a partnership with Biomaterial Laboratory (Faculty of Pharmacy, Claude Bernard University, Lyon I, France), to be labelized by the Direction of Technology (French Ministry of National Education, Research and Technology).
